Red Team

Offensive Security Research

The Offensive Security Research team focuses on finding weaknesses before attackers do. We hunt for vulnerabilities in real-world software, build the tooling that makes that research faster, and write up everything we learn along the way.

01

Offensive Tooling

Building scripts, utilities, and tools that help with our day-to-day research — the small things that make hunting bugs faster and repeatable.

02

CVE Research

Actively looking into potential vulnerabilities in widely used software and learning how to properly analyze, validate, and responsibly disclose them.

03

Research Articles & Blogs

Documenting findings, techniques, tools, and lessons learned so other researchers can build on the work instead of starting from scratch.

Blue Team

Defensive Security Research

The Defensive Security Research team is RaptX's newer arm. Its mandate: track active campaigns as they unfold, pull apart malicious software, and turn that understanding into detections the wider community can deploy.

01

Threat Hunting

Actively looking for ongoing malware campaigns and threat actors so we can warn the community about them before they spread further.

02

Malware Analysis

Reverse engineering malicious software, understanding how it works, and publishing the results to public databases for everyone to use.

03

Detection Engineering

Writing detection rules that help the community detect and defend against ongoing threats — turning analysis into something defenders can act on.

Pick a side — or both

Whether you like breaking software or hunting the people who abuse it, there's a place for you on RaptX.
